Coca-Cola’s Gold Peak Tea Becomes a Billion-Dollar Brand

Amid burgeoning demand for iced tea products, the Coca-Cola Co. today announced that Gold Peak and Fuze Tea are two of the newest additions to its portfolio of billion-dollar brands. Retail sales of Gold Peak and Fuze Tea exceeded the $1 billion mark in 2014, as did those of I LOHAS mineral water, a Coke-owned brand that is sold in Japan.

Microsoft has launched Sway — a new app named in partnership with Lexicon Branding — that’s part of the company’s Office family of products. Tidal takes on Spotify with lossless-quality streaming music

Tidal is the latest streaming music service hoping to make waves in the digital music market, taking on Spotify, Deezer, Beats Music and others.  Launched by Scandinavian technology company Aspiro, and named by Lexicon Branding of Sausalito, its monthly subscription is twice the price of most of those rivals, with the firm hoping that its promise of “HiFi-quality” music persuades music fans to stump up the extra cost.  Tidal is also betting on more than just audio. It has 25m songs available to stream, but also 75,000 music videos and a team of editors writing features and interviews about established and emerging artists.

Leading networking products maker TP-Link has entered the smartphone market with the introduction of three new Android smartphones – Neffos C5L, C5, and the C5 Max. The three devices, as well as future smartphones from the company, will be marketed under the “Neffos” brand.
